Night Wisdom Dreamwork Retreat

Dreams are nightly invitations to discover and experience how Life, the deeper mystery, summons us towards the original, unconditioned wholeness that we are. From the heart-pounding wake-up calls of nightmares to the sweetly delicious dreams from which we’d just as soon not awaken, these nightly dramas can be understood as responses from the so-called unconscious to pressing questions our day minds haven’t figured out how to ask. This weekend retreat is an opportunity to explore, through direct experience, the startling depth of healing wisdom and fresh insight that dreams offer us.

By coming together and apprenticing ourselves to what is dreaming us, individually and as a group, we allow ourselves to immerse in surprising gifts of understanding and feeling, freeing us from barriers we often erect between ourselves and the world. The retreat takes place at the Keen Ranch, in the rolling hills and Oak woodlands above Sonoma, CA. With abundant new growth and green shoots after the recent fires and winter rain, we will deepen our dreaming by walking and listening to the resilience of the earth. Participants will leave with the tools to nurture and support an ongoing receptivity to, and partnership with, this wisdom of the night. Through the process, we will begin to see how life in its unerring intelligence is always working with us in perfect call and response.
